on our myspace profile, we have a friend who does reviews for all webcomics have have him as a myspace friend. he recently gave us this review:

Xaltia Tales is a pretty average sprite comic. The art isn't bad, being that it's a sprite comic and mostly just cut and paste. The story is lacking though. In fact, there doesn't seem to be much of a plot yet other than "Hey, it's a fantasy, so here are the characters that have no reason to stick together other than to bash monsters and get the ultimate item." The priest female is funny, and a bit less 'damsel in distress' than most. In fact, she kicks more ass than the rest of the characters put together. The comic isn't very long yet, only 29 comics, so it definetly has room to grow. Which is good. For this increadibly average comic, I give it a 2 out of 5

from what i can tell...he didn't really like the comic. which makes me wonder, how do the other readers feel? tell me what you think of the comic, what you like/dislike about it, how it can be improved. i'd appreciate it

well, personally, i think the comics are getting better over time (cause i have advanced access to them).

maybe by getting more comics out there, we can get more readers. could we maybe increase the number of comics per week to two? we have a bit of buffer right now, but you'd have to make two per week once that runs out.

would it be possible to do that?

i think it deserves a 4 out of 5 based soly on the prescences of gir
(not 5 because the real gir wouldnt focus enough to be a evil mastermind)

and i think a lot of people would appreciate more then one update a week

yes, let's up the ante to two comics per week. don't worry about me making two per week, i usually make three or four a day. by the way, Kionous, Gir doesn't act as a mastermind out of his own normal will....just a teaser for further comics...

in fact, anything with both rpgs and NEStitch is just plain hilarious.

i'm glad you all enjoy XT so much. i've talked with Redmage, and we're gonna go ahead and update two comics per week. now, do your part to support Xaltia, and TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS! the more readers we get, the better things will be!

yeah, i just saw that sentence after looking at the topic a couple times. if you make three or four a day, why not an even more ambitious schedule? If you make ten or more comics per week, updating thrice a week could work.

just tossing in my opinion. updating the site isn't the best thing in the world, but if it gets us more views, what the hell?

i know you don't make comics as fast as you used, NES, but d'you think three a week would still work?

i could update on a MWF-type schedule if you wish. all that means is that i'm gonna have to remember to update more often....not good at remembering on time.

I agree. Scratch the whole three a week sched - we're back at a "once a week or whenever i fucking remember to update" schedule, folks, just please deal with us. Sadly, neither of us can focus our primary attention on the webcomic...

also, I now make a call of desperation to all XT fans I know in real life! Coke has attempted to kill my laptop, but she lives on! i jsut can't use her keyboard (i'm using my mom's compy for purposes so far, but she has no Fotoshop installed)....please, XT fans, if you wish to see the continuation of your beloved (not really) comic, help me out with this!

and yeah, if my loyal (not really) fans could find it in your hearts (or whatever gooey stuff you have inside you) to send me a keyboard or something so I can get to work on more comics, it'd be greatly appreciated by me!

I have 1 keyboard, and no job or money T.T. Won't be coming from me, at least not any time soon... sorry yo >.>.
