you were talking to me about having an avatar. any user is permitted an avatar - it just must meet the requirements (size, KB size, etc.).

if the image is the proper size in pixels but too large in KB, try converting the file to GIF (open it up in paintbrush, and re-save it in GIF, or do it with photoshop, less color loss that way).

don't worry, i didn't block your access to an avatar or anything crazy like that...

Thats like... all I remember. Back in the day it was watch Pokemon, beat Chrono Trigger for the *insert large number here*th time, eat dinner and sleep. Ahhh, the joys of being a kid T.T.

my childhood was made up of marios 1 and 3, looney tunes, final fantasy 1 (until i was blue in the face from not eating, sleeping and forgetting to breathe too often), star trek books, and pokemon red (on an original fat grey gameboy, thank you very much ).

then i got an n64 and my childhood evolved into playing mario 64, rogue squadron, and banjo-kazooie. then i got a PC that actually had windows on it (the family computer was a 1987 packard bell with MS-DOS) and i played sim city 2000 for a year straight at least.

yeah, i was a loser too!

God, my childhood consisted of so many things, I don't even want to start listing them here. all I know is that seeing a mutated thug get splattered by a rampaging sports car into goop when I was 8 years old had a huge impact on my childhood, amongst all the other things.

Did anybody play SimFarm other than me?

And did they like it?

Just curious....I LOVE the game and to this day I don't know why.....same goes with simcopter and streets of simcity. they fucking rocked (even if they DID run on directx 2 or whatever).

I looked for SimFarm on several abandonware sites and still haven't found the windows version....the DOS one is too difficult to use, the windows one was MUCH better.

Could someone help me out?

i got this collection of sim games from the orginal SimCity to SimTower(my favorite) to things this weird game that looks like the Sim version of Civilization.


it also came with Streets of Sim and Simcopter

I had Sim Themepark on my playstation back in the day.... it was interesting. One of my favorite recent sim games was 'The Movies' though. While not technically a 'sim' game, it was.... somewhat simliar in a way. NEStitch might like that one if you haven't played it yet. You're a movie buff, right?

I have played The Movies recently, and have now become addicted to it. haven't played the expansion yet, but I plan on doing so asap.

Yeah, The Movies is a great... sim?... game?..... thing........... w/e, its fun. The expansion just basically adds in the ability to do stunts. Which is a bonus though, cuz stunts are awesome.
